The DeepHorizon consortium will meet in person at the University of Bern (Switzerland) from 28th – 30th of January 2026.
This gathering will be a valuable opportunity for all project partners to reconnect, share progress, and plan the next steps together.
Over three days, participants will take part in discussions about ongoing and upcoming activities, explore project case studies, and visit one of the living lab areas near Bern.
The meeting will also include moments to strengthen collaboration — such as a group dinner and a short cultural visit to discover the city’s atmosphere.

The main international train connections to Bern typically route through Zurich, Basel, or Geneva. These three cities are well connected to the European rail network. The travel durations from these larger cities are

Bern does not have an international airport. Therefore, the easiest way to arrive is to take the plane to the international airports of Zurich, Geneva, or Basel.
There are direct train connections from Zurich and Geneva airports to Bern. Travel from Basel airport requires one transfer. The travel durations from these airports to Bern are:

- Geneva airport – Bern: 2h
- Basel airport – Bern: 1h30min (1 transfer in Basel SBB)
